21-Day Safari Overview

This 21-day safari combines the highlights of Kenya and Tanzania in one trip, offering a great chance to encounter rich wildlife along with stunning landscapes and immersive cultural experiences.

Your adventure starts in Nairobi, where you will take on a scenic drive in our 4x4 land cruiser to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You'll visit the last two northern white rhinos in the world and explore the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. From there, we'll continue to the rugged and semi-arid landscape of Samburu National Reserve, where you'll encounter unique wildlife such as the Grevy's zebra and the reticulated giraffe.

Next, we'll journey to the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its thousands of flamingos and home to endangered black and white rhinos.

No journey through Kenya is complete without a visit to the world-famous Masai Mara, where you'll encounter a rich diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five, roaming freely in the vast open plains. We will also visit a Maasai village where you can interact with the Maasai people and learn about their customs, traditions, and daily life in this iconic region of East Africa.

Just like the wildebeest migrate, we travel south to the legendary Serengeti National Park, hoping to follow the incredible Great Migration with some luck. After exploring the Serengeti, we'll continue to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural wonder, and the most densely populated wildlife area in the world. Then, we visit Tarangire National Park, which is characterized by stunning views over valleys filled with baobab trees and an astonishing number of elephants.

From here, we drive to Arusha,  the safari capital of Tanzania. You can enjoy a well-deserved break to relax and explore the vibrant town. Finally, we travel back to Kenya to visit the magnificent Amboseli National Park. Here, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro while observing large elephant herds in their natural habitat. Our journey concludes where we began, in Nairobi, completing an unforgettable safari experience through East Africa's most iconic destinations.

Master the Art of Wildlife Photography

Photographing Afria's wildlife presents a myriad of challenges and opportunities, requiring skill, patience, and creativity. Whether capturing a fast cheetah or the graceful movements of a giraffe, each moment offers a chance to immortalize nature's wonders through your lens.

Tips for Capturing the Perfect Shot where we'll pay attention to during the trip:

  •  Understand Your Subjects: Take the time to observe and understand the behavior of the animals you photograph. Anticipate their movements and expressions to capture authentic moments.
  •  Play with Light: Experiment with different lighting conditions to add depth and drama to your photos. Embrace the soft morning light on safari or the golden hues of sunset for stunning effects.
  •  Focus on Composition: Pay attention to composition techniques such as leading lines, rule of thirds, and framing to create visually compelling images on your safari.
  •  Patience is Key: Wildlife photography requires patience and perseverance. Be prepared to wait for the perfect moment.

Because of Africa's diverse landscapes and wildlife, Kenya and Tanzania are popular destinations for nature & wildlife photography.
