Let me show you the real magic of Africa!

And build meaningful connections with like-minded travelers, nature loversΒ  & local communities along the way.

Explore & capture the beauty of Africa in an authentic way, with respect for wildlife and local communities and participate in conservation activities to give back to nature for what nature has given to us.

With 15 years of travel experience, I firmly believe that travel makes you a better person and enriches your life if you treat 'Mother Earth' and all its inhabitants the way you want to be treated, with love and respect!Β

To enhance my understanding of African wildlife and nature, I pursued a course to become a safari guide. As a FGASA & CATHSSETA accredited Nature Guide and National Geographic published Wildlife Photographer with a passion for nature conservation, I advocate for sustainable travel and the protection of our wildlife.

Based on my personal travel experience in 13 African countries and having worked with many local tour operators and lodges in Africa, I know exactly what places to visit to give you a safari experience of a lifetime. On the ground, I work together with renowned local tour operators who know the areas on the back of their hand!

And even better... to make your life easier, I will join you to ensure a smooth trip, taking care of every detail from timely pick-up at the airport until returning you at the end. Together with a local driver/guide, we love to share our knowledge about Africa and its flora and fauna. And I will also help you to take better photos on safari- all according to your personal wishes. Note that you don't have to be a photographer to join a safari tour.Β

Photo Safari Trip Africa: Frequently Asked Questions

Why go on safari to Africa with us?

I bring a wealth of experience to your Africa travel adventure. Having worked extensively in the travel industry as a photographer, marketeer, and travel consultant, I've personally explored the destinations we visit on our group trip. My commitment to providing the best service is reflected in the relationships I've built over time and the careful selection of accommodations. With my devotion to high-quality authentic and ethical travel experiences, I'm passionate about making your Africa journey extraordinary.

Do you handle all logistics?

Absolutely! From booking hotels to coordinating transfers, arranging local guides, and organizing activities and excursions, we take care of it all. Whether you prefer a meticulously planned itinerary or a more flexible, free-flowing experience, we tailor our services to meet your unique travel preferences.

Can I book some elements directly?

While you can book some aspects independently, we recommend entrusting us with your entire itinerary to ensure seamless transitions and the best value. Our presence provides invaluable support, especially when unexpected situations arise.

Do you arrange international flights?

Yes, we work with a preferred booking agent who can manage both international and domestic flights on your behalf. This collaborative approach ensures a smooth travel experience. What we do is putting you in direct contact with them so flights can be done by credit card. Flights are usually only held provisionally for 24 hours, so paying by credit card is usually best and that way you can also take advantage of any included travel insurance!

How is pricing structured?

Our (custom) African itineraries have a comprehensive trip price covering hotels, transfers, guides, park fees and activities. While the trip price is inclusive, certain items like tipping, visas, shopping, (alcoholic) drinks, and international flights are not included.

What should I budget for my trip?

Consider factors like flight costs, preferred (mid-range or semi-luxury) accommodations, and additional expenses for meals, tips, and shopping. Be prepared to budget between 5000 and 7000 USD for a 14-day up to 18-day trip including flight.

What are your payment terms?

We require a non-refundable 25% deposit, with full payment due 90 days before travel. Refer to our Terms & Conditions for detailed pricing and payment information.

How can I pay for my trip?

We prefer electronic bank transfers to avoid credit card fees. Refer to our Terms & Conditions for complete payment details.

What is your cancellation policy?

Find comprehensive details in our Terms & Conditions. Our cancellation fees are non-negotiable.

Do I need vaccinations or anti-malarials?

Check with a travel health clinic, as requirements vary by country. So it depends to what country we travel to and which areas we visit.

Do I need entry visas?

Check embassy or consulate requirements; we provide guidance in your final travel document, based on the African country we visit.

Is tipping included?

Tipping is not typically included. Gratuities are a very personal and dependent on the situation. However, in your final travel document we provide tipping guidelines.

What to pack for safari in Africa?

Pack essentials, including valid passport, visa, air tickets, expense money, inoculations, and clothing suitable for safaris. Consider traveling light with soft luggage. You should also bring a day pack to carry essentials whilst out on safari.

Bring a valid passport; be sure to check the expiry date. Also pack a photocopy of the photo page and the entry stamp page of your passport as an additional piece of identification. Please store these photo copies in a different place to your travel documents. If your passport is in a hotel safe, or if you were to lose your passport this precaution would prove invaluable.

Photography tips

Africa offers rich photo opportunities. Carry enough memory cards, and batteries. A 200 mm (or longer) telephoto lens will prove very useful on safari but if you're not into photography that much it is not a must. Respect local customs regarding photography. In many African cultures, it's considered rude to take pictures of people without asking them first.

Personal Medical Conditions

Check health notices and malaria information for your destinations. Carry necessary medications and prescriptions.

Travel Insurance

Secure travel insurance before arriving in Africa to participate in travel activities.
