TRIPODS
Travel photography and nature-/wildlife photography are some of my biggest passions in life. Photography has become one of the reasons I travel and gives my travels an extra purpose. One of the frequently asked questions is what photography gear I use while traveling the world and photographing wildlife. Here's a collection of all my camera stuff, from camera bodies and lenses to tripods and camera bags.

Camera Bodies

Canon EOS 5D MK IV

The Canon 5D MK IV is a full-frame camera for (semi) professional photographers. It takes incredible high-quality photos and it's the camera I use for almost all of my (recent) photos.

Canon EOS 7D

The Canon EOS 7D is an older DSLR I used to take lots of photos with. Nowadays this is my second camera body and I often use this camera with my telephoto lenses, for example for wildlife photography.

Standard & wide-angle camera lenses

Canon 16-35 f/2.8L III USM

The 16-35mm 2.8 is my favorite wide-angle lens for astro- & landscape photography, and shooting in cities! It's a perfect match with the 5D and it takes perfectly sharp photos! Definitely the lens I use the most.

Canon 24-105 f/4.5-5.6

A standard allround lens that fits both cameras (crop sensors and full frame cameras). When I carry the 5D with the 16-35mm lens, I often use the 24-105mm lens on the 7D. Because of the 105 zoom I often don't have to swap between wide angle and tele photo lenses. It's also less heavy then for example the 70-200mm telephoto lens

Canon 17-55mm f/2.8

The EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM offers great image quality. Super low light performance in combination with image stabilization makes this a great lens for indoor photos (without flash). The wide angle to mid-range telephoto coverage makes it a perfect all in one lens.

Telephoto lenses

Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS APO HSM

This is a fast and high-quality telephoto lens! I love to use this lens and it produced very sharp photos. It's obviously not the best lens to travel with since it's bigger and heavier than the previous lenses, but I usually never leave this lens at home.

Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L USM IS

It's not the cheapest lens in my collection of Canon lenses but I love the lens and it was worth the money. I decided to buy this lens for my wildlife photography. The 100-400mm lens is a perfect choice for wildlife, motorsport, airshows, and more.
