Ask yourself what you love to photograph the most and which type of photography makes you happy. That's what it's all about. For example, I found my passion in a combination of traveling and photography, and therefore, I found my niche, my true passion: travel photography. 

Apart from doing what you love, it helps to be good at what you're doing. If you love a certain photography niche, but you're still a beginner, you should improve your photography skills as soon as possible to become one of the best photographers in your niche. 

Popular niches have a huge market with many competitors. Research your competition and be prepared and confident enough to break into this market.
